Start your holiday straight away, no airports, no passports, no long journeys to the coast. Lodge 5 is set on Lake Pochard on the western section of the Cotswold Water park, within minutes from the A419 south of Cirencester. The area has recently received SSSI designation for its flora and fauna. There are many things to explore, angling to archery, water- sports to walking, birdwatching to biking, and Cotswold Country Park & Beach to name just a few things you can do around here.
And it’s not all about water – with beautiful country walks, the infant River Thames, unspoilt Cotswold villages, historic towns, nature reserves, all a short distance away from London, Bristol, Birmingham and the South West of England, it’s a great place for a weekend or longer – you will find there is always plenty to do.
The lodge sits on a secluded site comprising of only 15 (2-bed or 3-bed) Scandinavian timber lodges and is furnished to a high standard and equipped with LCD Freeview TV, hob, oven, kettle, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and gas barbecue. Linen, bath towels, electricity and heating are all included within the hire cost. There is reliable fibre optic broadband and wi-fi if you do need to work or to help keep everyone entertained. Each lodge has individual decor, Lodge 5 has a warm and rustic feel with driftwood lamps and curtain poles.
The three bedroom lodge can comfortably sleep six people and a large airy bathroom. Guests are welcome to bring sleeping bags for extra family members and friends.
All lodges have verandas, an outside eating area with views across Lake.
There is on-site fishing available with 73 pegs, any fishing requests need to be pre-booked before your visit. Also on site, there is an site Café/ Sushi Restaurant with a 5-star food hygiene rating.
